It is with great frustration and disappointment that we have to confirm that the remaining 5 shows of our winter tour will not go ahead. The statements and guidance announced by both Public Health Scotland and The Scottish Government have put us in a position where we felt there was no choice but to reschedule the remaining shows given both the uncertainty that has been created and also a having a duty of care to attendees.    Having been back out on tour these past few months this is the last thing we wanted to announce. Next week, our Business Manager, Peter West (Fraser’s dad), begins a challenge he’s set himself. He’s going to run and cycle between iconic lighthouses on Scotland’s west and east coasts. ‘Light to Light – Carbon Free Across Scotland’ will cover around 200 miles between Ardnamurchan Lighthouse on the west coast and Scurdie Ness Lighthouse, near Montrose on the east coast. His all electric support car, a Skoda Enyaq, means that the journey will be entirely carbon free.  And he’s doing it all for charities that have lost out on some of their regular funding inputs during the pandemic. **2020 TOURING UPDATE** It is with very heavy hearts that we need to confirm that ALL remaining shows for 2020 have now had to be cancelled or rescheduled. We are devastated to announce that we will have to cancel our 15th Anniversary concert XV at Inveraray Castle on the 6th June this year. This was not a decision taken lightly but is ultimately the right decision given the global pandemic and implications of that on everyday life.  - Statement from event founders Skerryvore We are today confirming that Oban Live will be taking a break in 2020 after four amazing years off the back of our 10th anniversary concert ‘Decade’ in 2015. This decision was not taken easily but sadly was one that was ultimately inevitable due to the lack of development and improvement of Mossfield Stadium and the annual issues that remain with regards to making the site acceptable for a major event like Oban Live.
