If things weren't hard enough in the music industry these days... read below 👇 Over 1,900 artists and music professionals have come together to sign @the_smia Open Letter on the Culture Funding Crisis. The letter is being sent today – @creativescots Open Fund for Individuals is now closed.

We urge the Scottish Government to immediately reinstate Creative Scotland’s Open Fund for Individuals and Youth Music Funds, and confirm the planned £25 million increase in cultural funding for 2025 will be secured by the start of the new financial year (1 April 2025).

Culture funding is essential.
