Apparently, Alec comes up with all the good ideas. Apparently, Alec comes up with all the good ideas... The truth is, the title Beautiful Mistakes came to us right at the very beginning of recording the album, and the more we worked on the songs, the more it felt like the perfect fit. As well as the title reflecting life’s imperfections - it also became part of how we made the album. Throughout the recordings, we found ourselves keeping things that we’d normally edit out. Little bits of studio chatter. Background noises. Imperfections. Moments that weren’t planned but somehow made the songs feel more honest. It almost sounds like you’re sitting in the room with us while it was being made. And that felt pretty important to keep in.

Fly is the first single from our new album, ‘Beaut Fly is the first single from our new album, ‘Beautiful Mistakes’ - Available to PRE-ORDER NOW 👉 LINK IN BIO The music video for this song was filmed in Studio 2 - the very room where every song on the album was written and recorded. This time around, we wanted to do things a little differently. Rather than recording separately, we spent months together in the same room, writing, playing, recording and creating side by side. It brought a real energy to the process and helped shape some of the most honest and organic music we’ve ever made. In many ways, that’s where the title Beautiful Mistakes comes from too. As the album began to take shape, we found ourselves keeping things that we’d normally edit out. A laugh in the background. A conversation between takes. A moment that wasn’t planned. Even the odd mistake. Those little imperfections made the recordings feel more human- like you’re sitting in the room with us while the songs are being created. Those moments became part of the story. Fly is out now on all streaming platforms. Let us know what you think!

Today, we’re incredibly proud to share the title o Today, we’re incredibly proud to share the title of our new album… “Beautiful Mistakes” - coming 6th Nov 👉 AVAILABLE TO PRE-ORDER NOW - LINK IN BIO Over the last 20+ years, we’ve travelled countless miles together. We’ve played village halls, pubs, festivals and concert halls. We’ve celebrated successes, learned lessons the hard way, made lifelong friendships and collected stories from every corner of the world. As we began writing this album, we found ourselves reflecting on all of those moments. Not just the highlights, but the wrong turns, the missed opportunities, the challenges, the risks taken and the unexpected moments that somehow ended up shaping who we are. This album was written and recorded together in a room, the way so many of our musical journeys began. Playing, writing, listening and creating side by side. The handwritten words on the artwork are Alec’s own. Many of the stories and lyrics throughout the album come from personal experiences, memories and reflections, but we hope they speak to something much bigger than ourselves. At its heart, Beautiful Mistakes is an honest album about being human. About navigating wrong turns. 
About embracing flaws. 
About recognising through all of the dissonance, lies the harmonic beauty of being human. We can’t wait for you to hear it. The song takes us back to the early days - long drives in clapped-out cars, late nights, tiny village halls, packed pubs, making memories and figuring it all out as we went along. These photos are from the day we filmed the music video, but they got us thinking about all the stories that inspired the song in the first place.
